3 Effective ways to Conquer Your Fear and Embrace Confidence

On the other side of your greatest fear is your greatest life- Robin Sharma

Everyone has dreams to do something that they love to do. However, often times fear holds us back, prohibiting us to unlock our full potential as the people that God has always intended us to be. These 3 principles applied to your life will allow you to walk in freedom, experiencing breakthrough in every circumstance that life throws at you.

Remembering who you are. It is very easy to identify our selves with what we do, rather than who we are. If you play tennis, you might tell people you are a tennis player. If we arn't careful, we might start to Identify with what we do. This is incredibly dangerous, because we are putting all our confidence in what we do, which leads to finding our worth in something that will eventually fail us, which leads to emptiness and brokenness. How do we avoid this? We find our identify in Jesus Christ, which reminds us everyday that we are sons and daughters of him, meaning that no matter what happens, we are working for him and him alone. We can walk in his confidence and remember that even when we fail, he still is there for us. That is true confidence!

Resting in the approval of Christ. It is so easy for us to care what people think. However, The secret key to unlock true freedom is to work for Christ and Christ alone. Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, work whole heartedly for the Lord and not man, knowing that you have received your inheritance as your reward in full. Serve the Lord Christ." The approval of people is failing, and pleasing them only leads to highs and lows, which eventually leads to a paralyzing way to live. Nothing about that sounds appealing, so rest in the fact that you really only care what God thinks and what he says about you.

Rejoicing in the presence of God. The presence of Jesus Christ in your life completely eliminates all fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 "For the spirit of God is not a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self discipline." Those found in Christ has access to this presence in their life at all time. Its our duty to reside in his presence freely, which can only be accessable when we surrender to him. Its his will for your life that will bring you to a more freeing way to live. We have the choice, choose him.

Remembering, Resting, Rejoicing. Practice these three principles and watch your life take off to another level. This is the way we all are called to live, Completely free from what people think of us. With all the distractions of this world, its easy to cruise through life. So many people are doing it, but we are not of this world. We are set apart. We have the free gift to enjoy life to the fullest, and walk in the freedom from fear. This life is not meant to be paralyzing, but completely freeing.
